How We Created The Forever Lunchbox

We’re foodies who love to lunch.

That means whipping up culinary feats the night before, and dreaming of that first piping hot first bite until it graces our lips the next day. But the perfect lunchbox that allowed us to do that just didn’t quite exist… yet. Over many years and thousands of packed lunches, we noticed that almost all containers just weren’t getting it right. With our team’s deep background in practical engineering and a burning desire for getting things perfect, we spent no less than three years in research and development of the Karma. Yep… over 1,000 days to make the perfect lunchbox.

Innovation, hard work, and a whole lot of testing.

Those thousand hours of R&D paid off big time. We passionately assessed different materials, studied heat dispersion and spill protection, and analyzed iteration after iteration to find the perfect shape, volume and design. It had to be flexible and good for lunches of all sizes. And it had to look and feel beautiful – because we eat first with our eyes, and nobody wants to chow down out of an unappealing dish. Finally, at long last, the Karma was born.
